A little bit about myself....

Hello Everyone!

My name is Lisa Valenti. I get many people writing me all the time asking how I got into this, what am I doing now, and what's to come. So I figured that I'd write a little bit and let you know.

I certainly didn't start out on the internet. I've had lots of "regular" jobs; office manager, executive secretary, bartender, and Jeep tour driver. Then I started my own housecleaning business, which I must say was very profitable, but I got real tired of cleaning other people's stuff. I tried to hire employees to do it and that too became a huge hassle. And then I became pregnant. Well, talk about a motivator! I knew there was NO WAY I was going to clean houses with a baby in a backpack although I was quite prepared to do so. Sure, I knew I could put him in daycare, but that's just not my thing. So day after day, night after night, all day on weekends, I diligently searched the internet for work at home opportunities. I joined some affiliate programs. You know, the ones that you have to recruit people to join. I actually did well with one company and I'm still affiliated with them, but after 2 years, it still isn't enough money to support me and a child. A few people told me about eBay and that sounded real fun. I loved going to garage sales and finding "treasures", I still do. But as you can tell, I discovered something better. And that "something better" made me enough money so I could slow down and stop worrying about money (read my Burn to Earn ebook to learn more).  Anyway, right now I'm taking a break from recording CDs. Not because I don't like the money, but because I decided to try writing a book, I went back to school, and I'm spending tons of time with my family in the new house I just had built. It sits on 5 wooded acres and because of my internet success I can really spend the time and enjoy it!

If you want some internet business motivation too, I recommend reading this book called Multiple Streams of Internet Income by Robert Allen.  It's a great compliment to the Burn To Earn eBook and if you are into reading "make money" eBooks, you have to check out the selection on ClickBank.  They have thousands to choose from.  The only problem with them is that they don't have a search engine if you're looking for a specific subject.  Luckily, I have found one and it makes searching for eBooks a snap!  Check it out here at CB-Mall.
